- **Event Description**: Children naturally create stories and assign roles during play—this workshop taps into that innate creativity. In this intensive introductory session, we’ll use drama games and techniques to help children explore storytelling, character-building, and role-play both individually and collaboratively.

Together, they’ll co-create a group story and bring it to life, gaining confidence, enhancing self-expression, and learning to work as a team. 
This workshop also helps uncover hidden talents and lays the groundwork for more advanced creative training. 
Our theatre-based curriculum builds strong acting skills for both stage and screen while fostering essential life skills like collaboration, empathy, and presence. By the end, participants will walk away with a deeper awareness of themselves and their surroundings—having learned, created, and grown through the power of play.

About facilitator: 
Rania Zahra is an Egyptian actress, director, and film producer, known for her roles in the TV series Wish w Dahr, Rasheed, and Souq El Kanto. She studied acting, movement, and voice, and has a background in contemporary dance. She is also the founder of Baratales, a video production company focused on creative storytelling, as well as teaching drama and filmmaking to children and teenagers.

Rania has led workshops in Cairo and in refugee communities, using art as a tool for self-expression and confidence building. She also coaches actors on film sets, including for the series Ashghal Shaqqa and Egypt’s first animated Oscar film, combining acting techniques with storytelling and movement in her teaching style.
